ARC 10 Control Unit application for Android and iOS is a user friendly interface for sending commands and receiving alarms to/from the Infinite's ARC 10 GSM controller.

You can switch between the administration and the control page, swiping your finger on the left or right, like in the Android/iPhone home screen pages.
Administration Panel
When you start the app the first time the device selector is empty and you need to define at least one ARC10 remote device: tap the blue arrow on the right and add a new device ("Add New" button).Each device is distinguished by an alias and is characterized by a phone number and by a security password. All these parameters are mandatory. You can add more than one device so that you can use a single app to control more than one remote system. Remember to "Save" the device list, for completing the work, otherwise all changes will be lost.

If your phone number is registered in the control unit as the administration number (after the unit installation, the first call received is registered as administrator number), you can manage the user access list adding / removing phone numbers (up to 500) for both call or SMS:
- Add Call User + phone number : create a call user (the unit will accept toll free calls from this number to activate the output relay on gate 1)
- Del Call User + phone number : delete a call user
- Add SMS User + phone number : create a control user (the unit will accept SMS from this number)
- Del SMS User + phone number : create a control user
Moreover, you can set the custom text message for each digital input as an SMS alarm: type the text and click the "Set SMS 1" button for digital input 1 or "Set SMS 2" for digital input 2.
When the phone receives an SMS alarm message from the controller, the led related to input 1 or input 2 is turned on, and kept in this state until a user manual reset.
The "Reset" button sends the reset command to the unit.

The control panel (only for the Android version) shows all SMS received from the control unit and the leds representing the alarm status for digital input 1 and 2. You can switch among the registered units with the unit selector. The SMS logs and status led are kept in memory until you click the clean icon (X).
When an SMS message is received from one registered control unit number, a notification icon will be showed to the notification bar: the panel related to the sender unit is automatically selected if you tap the icon.
The four buttons in the bottom of the panel perform the following actions:
- Status: get the current I/O state (Analog Input / Digital Input / Digital Output)
- Open Gate: open the gate 1 (digital relay output 1) by a toll free phone call
- Out 2: set the digital relay output 2
- Custom: show the custom command list

This panel shows custom commands, you can:
- Add New SMS command and assign a custom alias
- Remove a command (click the corresponding red X button )
- Send the command to the selected unit (click the related green arrow button or keep pressed the command name)
Note: any change will be lost if you exit the panel without "Save" the data
Infinite ARC-10
ARC-10 is a top quality, easy to use GSM controller for alarming and remote control using SMS. The rail mount unit incorporates a Quad Band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS modem, two digital inputs, two power relay outputs and a serial RS-232 port. Up to five hundred users can be configured to switch a relay output with a toll-free phone call (e.g. for opening the garage door or a parking barrier). Ten users can be configured as alarm recipients.
All SMS functionality remains intact during GPRS operation. This means one can use the unit as a wireless modem to communicate with a remote serial device e.g. a traffic light controller or a vending machine and simultaneously benefit from the SMS alarming and remote control functionality.

Simple setup and operation
All setup and control can be done using a mobile phone. Simple ASCII configuration commands are used for unit setup and control. Several commands can be packed in one SMS.
